Participants feedback

"Thank you very much for the information you sent and especially for the extremely interesting event yesterday. It was encouraging to hear different experiences from different working environments." (mag./M.A. Branka Kerec Prekoršek, B.Sc. bibl. in lit. comp.)

"To you and your colleagues a big THANK YOU and also a big CONGRATULATIONS. I can describe yesterday's event with all the superlatives at our disposal. The composition of the participating experts was certainly well thought out and, in my opinion, excellently chosen. Besides all the exchanged experiences, views, tips, ideas and stories, we felt a very pleasant energy and positive vibes during our social gathering, which this time even the technology could not cloud. We are probably all starting to realise that something needs to change fundamentally in our environment, and it was yesterday's event that opened up new dimensions for us." (Nastja Pevec)

"I find that Covid itself did not mandate a change in leadership. Companies have paid more attention to supply chains and defense mechanisms against the disease, while local communities and the country have so far not done as well as they could because they have paid too little attention to analysts' findings and have not sought new management approaches. One characteristic of the current period of leadership is the general change at the top of companies, which will be a discouragement rather than an invitation for quality leaders into leadership.

I want to emphasize that the pandemic itself did not require a change in leadership because it is good to evaluate the market and local community defenses over time. The Covid pandemic is an integral part of nature's rebellion against humanity, which is not being conducted rationally or ethically. In this struggle with nature, however, the characteristics of leadership will have to change significantly. Without coal, oil, and plastics, an untold number of jobs will have to be eliminated from the top 90 polluters (R. Rizman, DP Delo 6.11.21). What is in harmony with nature will have to develop faster than before, creating new jobs and employing a growing number of people on earth. Small business development will be amazing, current management will have to specialize and redesign the supply chain of materials and especially services. Families will have to develop new ways of managing family property, invest more in lifelong learning, and have enough energy to enter the market. Consumer habits will gradually change due to conservation. Consumers will not buy what is offered to them but only what they need as entrepreneurs and what is necessary for their existence. Robots or automation will also contribute to the change in leadership. Interdisciplinary, independent professions will emerge that integrate their services into supply chains without the need for leadership. It seems that the new organizational units will have the now familiar character of a cooperative or voluntary association.

Digitalisation is already a priority in the EU, extending to all sectors and significantly changing the management of common affairs included in the budgetary agreement. Public institutions and budgetary undertakings will have to grow or evolve with population growth and act as economic entities, regardless of the source of funding for their services. There will be more and more common issues, there will be a sensitivity to making the environment as fiscally friendly as possible, and therefore there will be increased scrutiny. Leadership in this social segment will therefore take on the characteristics of a seeker of balance between the opportunities and the needs of public services.

What can be inferred today from publicly published analyzes, and what conservation activities suggest, it can be said that the most desirable trait of leaders will be confidence in their own abilities and the courage to develop markets on their own. These traits differ from current ones at least in (1) confidence in the job and the employer, (2) reference to an inadequate source of funding, and (3) the union's pursuit of higher wages.

Perhaps it would be good to know the opinion of Edgar and Peter Schein, who seek new characteristics of leadership in humility (Humble Leadership) or the findings of Mag. Darinka Miklavčič, who states in her book The Art of Leadership that leadership is an art." (Joža Miklič)
