FIB 2026 CONFERENCE: Future in Balance – Economy, Psychology and Sustainable Development
Faculty of Organisation Studies in Novo mesto (FOŠ) is proud to participate as a co-organizer of the international scientific and professional conference FIB 2026 – Future in Balance: Economy, Psychology and Sustainable Development, which will take place on 17–18 April 2026 at the Faculty of Management and Business Economics, University of Travnik (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Management and Business Economics of the University of Travnik in cooperation with several international partners: the Faculty of Organisation Studies (FOŠ), the Belgrade Banking Academy – Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance (BBA), Hochschule Neu-Ulm – University of Applied Sciences (HNU), and Kocaeli University – Kocaeli Vocational School. At FOŠ, we are particularly proud to contribute to the organization of such an important international academic event that promotes collaboration among researchers, experts, and institutions from different countries.
The FIB 2026 conference is designed as an interdisciplinary platform for discussing contemporary challenges faced by society and the economy. Its main objective is to connect three key areas of modern development:
- economics,
- psychology in organizations and business environments,
- sustainable development.
Through research presentations, professional discussions, and the exchange of experiences, participants will explore how modern business models, organizational practices, and public policies can contribute to a more balanced and sustainable development of society.
Special emphasis will be placed on:
- the transfer of scientific knowledge into practice,
- the development of sustainable business models,
- psychological aspects of leadership, decision-making, and organizational behaviour,
- international academic cooperation and networking among researchers.
The conference will include presentations of scientific and professional papers, thematic discussions, and professional meetings where researchers, academics, doctoral students, and representatives from the business sector will present their latest research findings and best practices.
The conference will therefore provide opportunities for:
- the exchange of research results,
- strengthening cooperation between academia and the business sector,
- discussions on current challenges of sustainable development,
- the development of new research and project collaborations.
Accepted scientific papers will be published in the scientific journal Univerzitetska hronika, published by the University of Travnik.
