Our Teacher and Researcher Assist. Prof. Dr. Nadia Molek Awarded Prestigious MSCA Fellowship

It is with great pride and pleasure that we announce an outstanding research achievement by our colleague.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Nadia Molek, a member of the Faculty of Organisation Studies in Novo mesto, has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship under the Horizon Europe programme. This fellowship is among the most esteemed and competitive European funding schemes for individual researchers, supporting scientific excellence, international mobility, and the development of innovative research approaches.

As part of the awarded project entitled PRECANOMIES, Dr. Molek will explore the experiences of platform workers in Slovenia using an ethnographic approach. The research will focus on algorithmic management, precarity, and the formation of worker identities in the context of contemporary socio-economic transformations and the new EU Directive on platform work. The project contributes to ongoing debates on the future of work and offers important insights into the impact of digital platforms on labour markets.

While the empirical focus of the project is Slovenia, the research will be conducted in collaboration with the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), under the supervision of Prof. Juan Carlos Revilla Castro, a distinguished expert in critical management studies and organisational research. This international collaboration will further strengthen the scientific quality of the project and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and best practices to the Slovenian academic environment.

Our sincere congratulations to Dr. Molek on this important achievement and recognition.
