Faculty of Organizational Studies Co-Organized FIB 2026 Conference in Travnik
The International Scientific and Professional Conference Future in Balance 2026 once again successfully brought together the academic and business communities, creating an important platform for interdisciplinary discussion on key challenges facing contemporary society. This year’s event, held in April at the Faculty of Management and Business, University of Travnik, gathered experts from across Europe and further strengthened its role as a significant meeting point for international academic and professional exchange.
The conference emphasized the importance of collaboration between research institutions, the business sector, and the broader social environment in developing sustainable and innovative solutions for the future. It highlighted the need for continuous dialogue and cooperation in addressing complex societal transformations driven by technological advancement and global change.
One of the co-organizers of the conference was the Faculty of Organizational Studies in Novo mesto, which actively contributes to the development of scientific research and the strengthening of international academic networks. Through its engagement, the faculty continues to reinforce its position as an important stakeholder in the fields of organizational and social sciences.
The conference also featured active participation from our higher education lecturer and head of the project office, Dr. Lejla Imamović Lerić, who presented her scientific contribution and took part in a panel discussion. Her engagement further contributed to the exchange of knowledge and perspectives on contemporary educational and technological developments.
A particular focus of the discussions was placed on the ethical use of artificial intelligence, the personalization of learning processes, the digital transformation of educational institutions, and the impact of advanced technologies on the quality and accessibility of education. The discussions emphasized the necessity of a thoughtful and evidence-based integration of technology into educational systems, grounded in scientific research, professional dialogue, and responsible change management.
