Dr. Tomaž Aljaž on Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility in Cyprus

As part of the Erasmus+ programme, our teacher, Dr. Tomaž Aljaž, participated in a teaching mobility at the School of Economics, Business, and Computer Science at Neapolis University Pafos in Cyprus.

The aim of the mobility was to strengthen international cooperation between the two institutions and to establish foundations for future joint activities in the areas of teaching collaboration, student and staff exchanges, and the development of joint international projects.

During his visit, he presented topics related to IT project management, with particular emphasis on current trends and challenges in this field. He also introduced participants to approaches based on the Theory of Constraints (CCPM), risk management, communication and stakeholder management, as well as project performance measurement. In addition to delivering lectures, the mobility provided numerous opportunities for professional discussions, the exchange of good practices, and networking with colleagues from the host university.

The mobility represented an important opportunity for gaining new professional and pedagogical insights and for further strengthening the international connections of FOS. At the conclusion of the visit, both sides expressed their interest in continuing cooperation in the fields of teaching, research, and international projects.

At FOS, we believe that Erasmus+ mobilities significantly contribute to the internationalisation of higher education, the exchange of knowledge, and the development of a high-quality study and research environment. Such experiences enrich teaching practices, encourage the creation of new partnerships, and open opportunities for further cooperation within the international academic community.

We sincerely congratulate dr. Tomaž Aljaž on successfully completing the mobility and look forward to further cooperation with Neapolis University Pafos.
