Starting a New Chapter in Our Story

With the adoption of the Statute of the University of Novo mesto, the Faculty of Organizational Studies has become a member of the new public University of Novo mesto.

Following the registration of the public University of Novo mesto in the Court Register on 1 July 2026 and the adoption of its Statute, an important step in the process of establishing the new public university and integrating its member faculties into its operations has been completed.

With our integration into the University of Novo mesto, our official name is also changing. From now on, the Faculty will operate as the University of Novo mesto, Faculty of Organizational Studies (UNM FOŠ).

 Joining the new university community represents an important milestone in the development of our Faculty and opens up new opportunities for further growth and development:

• Further strengthening the quality of education and research

• Expanded opportunities for international cooperation

• Even stronger links with business sector and the local community

We are entering this new chapter with the knowledge, experience and values that we have built at the Faculty of Organisation Studies over many years. At the same time, we remain committed to our distinctive identity, mission and dedication to the development of organizational studies and to creating knowledge for the future.

A new era lies ahead, bringing numerous opportunities for development, collaboration and joint creation.
