Faculty awards

In line with the Rules on the Promotion of Creative Achievements at FOŠ, the Faculty of Organisation Studies in Novo mesto (FOŠ) recognises the achievements of its students, employees, and external collaborators for their contributions in the past academic year.

The purpose of the Faculty Awards is to encourage continuous improvement in the quality of work, raise the standard of FOŠ’s organisation, and strengthen our culture of excellence.

Student Awards

FOŠ students may be recognised for:

• Outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements in undergraduate and graduate programmes.
• Best theses in undergraduate and graduate programmes.
• Achievements in research during the past academic year.

Staff Awards

FOŠ employees may be recognised for:

• Facutly teachers or associates: achievements in teaching.
• Faculty teachers and associates: highest student survey ratings.
• Faculty teachers or associates: excellence in tutoring.
• Researchers: outstanding research achievements.
• Professional staff: contributions to improving the quality of FOŠ operations.

Nomination Process

• Candidates must be nominated by others to the FOŠ Office by 15 November for the previous academic year.
• Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Application for FOŠ Awards”.
• The proposal must include the completed form “Application for FOŠ Award” (OBR-FOŠ-080) and the required attachments.

Recognition

Award recipients receive a written certificate, the FOŠ Award of Excellence, and are named as part of the Team of Excellence of the Year.
