
Academic Development Center (ARC)
As part of the Faculty of Organisation Studies in Novo mesto, we carry out educational activities in various areas of organisational studies. Our goal is to deliver education of the highest quality and to exceed the expectations of participants. With highly experienced and professional lecturers, we offer engaging and relevant content that is valuable in both academic and professional contexts.
The establishment of the Academic Development Centre (ARC) is intended to:
- encourage the involvement of faculty members and students in scientific, professional, and research projects,
- support the introduction of new forms of teaching for both teachers and students, and
- educate and empower a wide range of stakeholders.

Content program
The ARC develops and implements a variety of activities that support academic growth, research, innovation, and competence development for teachers, researchers, and students. These include study programmes, summer and winter schools, international schools, training courses, workshops, conferences, and research projects.

- Flexible career planning: analysis of needs, talents, and career aspirations.
- Empowering career paths: workshops and training to build competencies for personal growth and academic excellence.
For students:
- Tailored solutions to support student engagement and design pathways that reduce dropout rates.
- Education through modern approaches and innovative models of study and research.
- Involvement of labour market representatives and alumni in the study process.
- Cooperation with institutions supporting young people with special needs.
- Development of digital learning content.
- Promotion and dissemination of academic activities
For the community:
- Educational workshops and training for the local and regional community.
- Coaching.
- Consulting services focused on addressing specific organisational challenges and developing improvement plans in areas such as wellbeing, quality management, and workplace culture (e.g. quiet quitting).
