Publication of the Fifth Issue of the WOMEN Up Project Newsletter
The fifth and final issue of the international WOMEN Up project newsletter has been published. Throughout its implementation, the project has strengthened and empowered groups of vulnerable women across Europe. It has brought together educators, social workers and support organizations in a joint effort to improve access to new opportunities, knowledge and personal support for women in vulnerable situations. This issue highlights the project’s key achievements, confirming its broad and lasting impact.
Over more than two years, the project developed five life-skills modules aligned with the European LifeComp framework and created a career counselling and mentoring programme consisting of nine interactive activities. These contents were pilot-tested in five partner countries, enabling their refinement based on real user needs. All materials and resources were prepared in seven languages – English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Greek, Russian and Arabic – ensuring wide accessibility and usability.
The final newsletter emphasises that WOMEN Up has demonstrated that women’s empowerment is not a one-time event but an ongoing process that grows through trust, education, mentorship and community support. FOŠ proudly highlights its role in the project, which has contributed to greater social inclusion, enhanced competencies of professionals and the development of sustainable pathways for the personal and professional growth of vulnerable groups of women.
