FOS Joins the Community for Educational Innovation

The Faculty of Organizational Studies in Novo mesto (FOS) has become a member of the Community for Educational Innovation, a European community operating within the Erasmus+ programme under the auspices of the European Commission. This membership represents an important step in the further development of the Faculty’s international cooperation in the fields of innovation in higher education, research, and public policy design.

The Community for Educational Innovation brings together higher education institutions, policy makers, researchers, and representatives of the business sector with the aim of strengthening the role of education as a key driver of innovation. The community promotes dialogue between policy and practice, inter-institutional learning, and capacity building for the development of entrepreneurial competences, support for the green and digital transition, STEM fields, and lifelong learning.

The activities of the community are based on four thematic pillars:

  • entrepreneurship and innovation in education,
  • linking research with social and economic impact,
  • education for the green and digital transition,
  • lifelong learning and the development of future competences.
  •

The community enables its members to participate actively through the MS Teams digital platform, where webinars, study visits, thematic events, and the exchange of good practices take place. It is dedicated to co-creating solutions, strengthening cooperation among stakeholders, and jointly shaping European policies in the fields of education and innovation.

Through its membership in the Community for Educational Innovation, FOS reinforces its commitment to the development of modern organizational, pedagogical, and research approaches and actively contributes to the realization of the vision of a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative Europe.
