Student Council
In accordance with the Statute of the Faculty of Organizational Studies in Novo Mesto, elections to the FOŠ Student Council, which has seven members, are held every year in the first half of October. The FOŠ Student Council plays an important role in the functioning of the faculty, as it is a special body that discusses and forms opinions on all matters relating to the rights and obligations of students.
In accordance with the FOŠ Statute, the FOŠ Student Council is composed of seven students, so that it includes representatives of undergraduate and graduate study programs. The FOŠ Student Council has the following main responsibilities:
- discusses and forms opinions on all matters relating to student rights and obligations,
- forms opinions on the FOŠ Statute,
- provides opinions on educational work in the procedures for appointing teachers and staff,
- formulating the opinions of FOŠ students and electing members of FOŠ working bodies and organs from among the students, when so determined by the FOŠ Statute,
- discussing and adopting the program and report on extracurricular activities,
- discussing the report on the organization, implementation, and development of educational activities.
The Student Council for the 2025/2026 academic year consists of the following members:

The Student Council also has its own email address: studentski-svet (at) fos-unm.si, where you can send any questions, suggestions, or other matters related to your studies and the Student Council.
Members meet at sessions, for which they keep minutes that are published in the FOŠ E-classroom.
