The Faculty of Organisation Studies warmly welcomes visiting professors as well as administrative and professional staff from international partner institutions to visit us within the framework of Erasmus+ or other international mobility programmes.

Your visits significantly contribute to the quality of our academic and administrative work, strengthen international cooperation, and enrich our community through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices.

For all students, professors, and staff coming to FOS for Erasmus mobility, we also offer our Course Catalogue, which provides detailed information on our courses and study programmes, and a Welcome Guide, containing all the essential information you will need upon arrival in Slovenia.

Our International Office provides comprehensive logistical, organisational, and informational support before your arrival, during your stay, and after your departure.

What is Erasmus+?

2.1 What is Erasmus+?

Erasmus+ is a European Union programme that supports education, training, youth, and sport in Europe. It offers both academic and administrative staff the opportunity to gain international experience, expand their professional knowledge, and enhance the international cooperation of the Faculty of Organisation Studies.

The programme enables the development of personal and professional competencies, exposure to new cultures, and opportunities for collaboration that can lead to long-term partnerships.

Teaching Mobility

2.2 Teaching Mobility

Teaching mobility enables academic staff to carry out teaching activities at partner institutions abroad.

Key features of the programme include:

  • a minimum teaching load of 8 teaching hours per week (proportionally more for longer mobilities),
  • teaching activities clearly defined in the Teaching Programme, approved by both institutions,
  • mobility duration between 2 days and 2 months (excluding travel days),
  • recommended duration of 5 working days for optimal teaching implementation.

We warmly invite visiting professors to share their expertise, participate in lectures, seminars, workshops, or panel discussions, and connect with our students and researchers.

Training Mobility

2.3 Training Mobility

Staff mobility for training purposes allows employees to acquire new skills, experiences, and best practices in an international environment. Participants may take part in:

  • educational visits,
  • job shadowing,
  • training courses, workshops, or seminars,
  • the exchange of best practices that contribute to personal and professional development.

Training mobility is also intended for administrative and professional staff aiming to develop new competencies or improve processes within their institution. The duration of mobility is between 2 days and 2 months, with the most common stays lasting 3–7 days.
