Kick-off meeting of the new WomenUP project
The Faculty of Organizational Studies in Novo mesto (FOŠ) has joined the international consortium of the WomenUP project, which will be implemented over the next two years as part of the Erasmus+ program.
The project aims to address the barriers faced by vulnerable women, with a focus on supporting single mothers. The project aims to ensure that vulnerable women are included in the education and training system and improve their skills to facilitate their integration into the labor market. Participation in WomenUP represents an important opportunity to share expertise and develop innovative solutions to support women in vulnerable situations.
On 23 and 24 January 2024, our colleagues, together with other representatives of partner organizations from Portugal, Greece, Ireland and Spain, participated in the first international meeting organized by the lead partner in Malaga, Spain. During the meeting, the partners discussed the planning of future activities in detail. They focused on the two main project outputs, an online course for adult educators and a career guidance program for disadvantaged women at risk, based on the European Lifecomp framework.
