First defense of the doctoral dissertation of a foreign student
On Wednesday, August 30, 2017, the first defense of the doctoral dissertation of a foreign student took place at the Faculty of Organisation Studies. Sameer Mohammed Majed Dandan successfully defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Stakeholder Satisfaction with Competencies Transfer in the Framework of Educational Policy Elements" as the first doctoral student from abroad, Jordan. Doctoral dissertation was created under the mentorship of doc. Dr. Daniel Klimovsky, Comenius University, Slovakia and Assoc. Prof. Dr. (United States of America) Annmarie Gorenc Zoran.
The entire defense of the doctoral dissertation was internationally colored, as we also hosted the Honorary Consul of Jordan, Mr. Samir Amarin, who after the defense, expressed his joy and satisfaction over the successfully defended doctoral dissertation and welcomed the possibility of educating foreign students at our faculty.
The high-profile visit thus represents an opportunity for the establishment of a successful international academic cooperation with the Faculty of Organizational Studies in Novo mesto, also with Jordan, with which the faculty strengthens its international engagement.
