Biography
Matej Jevšek graduated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Ljubljana and is currently working on his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Organisation Studies in Novo mesto. During his employment he worked as a design engineer, project manager and as machinery and product developer. In the last ten years he's been working on the field of system management and business excellence in the automotive industry.
Mr. Jevšček is an auditor for different management systems, assessor with the National Prize for Excellence, a member of the American Society for Quality and the Slovene Society for Quality and Excellence.
Research Profile
His research focuses on modern organisation, organisational and competence models and process approach. He combines his theoretical research with his long standing practical knowledge (spanning over 30 years) working in different professional and managerial positions in the automotive industry (constructor, technologist, head of development, assisstant general quality director, director of quality and environment).
